The Adventures of LarkyBear part1

"No Potts, not another cigarette, Im on my fourth pack today!" Larkin growled at Taylor. He didnt understand why he was obligated to constantly bum cigarettes to people, just because he was logical enough to buy in bulk.
"Come on Lark...karma" Taylor pleaded.
"Fine but this is THE last fucking time I give you a cigarette, so help me GOD." Larkin stormed away unhappy with his will power crumbling like a sand castle yet again. Larkin was drunk and tired and stepped outside...where he thought to himself "The condo is pretty close, I think Ill just huff it alone, but if I tell people they will try to stop me."
And like that Ryan Larking faded into the shadows with nothing but one Euro, a green lighter, and a half pack of Marborol Lights. Florence can be quite the maze if you arent one hundred percent sure where you are going. After an hour of power walking, and power smoking, Larkin was out of cigarettes, and out of patience.
Finally young Ryan approached a strapping young man riding a 1982 Schwinn Bicycle with a flat rear tire. Ryan usually would not approach a man with dreadlocks in as bad repair as the person in front of him, but at this point he was fresh out of options.
"Uh...Duomo, do you know where Duomo is...uh Que Es...fuck I knew I should pay attention in Spanish class..." Larkin was getting nowhere.
"You need map?" The homeless man riding the archaic bike, may be about to save Larkin, "One Euro I sell!"
This was perfect considering Larkin had exactly one Euro on him. This night was going to turn out to be the best ever.
"Si! Si!" screamed our gawky looking hero.
But, as fate would have it the night was about to take a miserable turn for the worse. While Ryan was searching the deep pockets of his Lucky jeans, the man brandished a shiny blade and took a step towards Ryan.
"No way, this is not about to happen," Larkin hissed in an awkward panic. "Catch me if you can motherF$%&"
Ryan snatched the map from the man and began to sprint. Navigation while running at full speed can be quite tricky. Larkin peered a second too long at the map and never even saw the trash can that he tackled over. The clatter from the crash perked the attention of one polizia officer who was strolling down a nearby block.
"Jesus Christ, can this night get any worse" Larkin jumped up and then began running in a different direction. He saw a somewhat deshevled fence and crashed his way over it. That is when he heard the dog barking. Without using a moment to catch his breath. Larkybear was up and moving. At this point he was quite sure he was bleeding from several places, and might have a seperated shoulder.
Larkin rounded a corner and saw building Via Matteotti 25, darted across the street without looking both ways and nearly was Koziked by a Smart Car. He finally arrived at the front door of his home and tapped the buzzer as if he were sending distress calls via Morse code. It was currently 630 am.
"Larkin what happened to you man" I nervously inquired.
He replied, "Nothing really, just got a little lost of the way home, but boy could I use a cigarette."
